The Reno area received between 6 and 8 inches of snow last night in a 4-hour period. There's more on the way this Tuesday and Wednesday. Another 2-3 feet will fall in the Sierra with another 1-2 inches on the Valley Floor.
An area of low pressure will keep showers and T-storms in the forecast through Monday. Localized flooding is possible with storms, along with lightning, gusty wind, and hail. Next week looks warmer and drier after Tuesday. -Jeff
