The Public Utilities Commission of Nevada (PUCN) has a $21.9 million rate reduction for northern Nevada energy customers.
The agreement was reached between
, PUCN staff and the Bureau of Consumer Protection.
NV Energy says, for a residential electric customer using 769 kilowatt hours per month, their monthly bill will decrease $2.12 or 2.47%.
The reduction is credited to a reduction in forecasted costs of providing renewable energy and efficiency.
