RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - For this week’s Monday Motivations, spiritual life coach, Leigh Hurst, from Purposeful Living and Healing Center shared her thoughts on how and why to hold onto hope. It was a topic purposed by a Facebook friend named Faith who said, “I think many people are waiting for the other shoe to drop, or worried about some aspect of the future. It would be awesome if you could speak about the power of dreaming big and envisioning a future that’s worth striving for and that makes life worth living now.”

Purposeful Living is also hosting two public events in June.

Thursday, June 15 Australian musicians Chad Wilkins and Gabrielle Euphoria will be performing at The Yoga Center - Reno (720 Tahoe Street, Reno) at 6 p.m. Tickets cost $35 and can be purchased online.

Then Saturday, June 24 Purposeful Living is taking part in a Summer Solstice Gathering at River School Farm (777 White Fir Street, Reno). The event begins at 10:30 a.m. You’re asked to bring a yoga mat, eye mask, water and journal; and dress in layers. Tickets cost $45 and can be purchased online.
